The best coffee in Bruges
For our delicious coffees, cappuccinos, lattes, cold brew, and so on, we collaborate with La-Thé, a micro-roastery from Poperinge that perfectly combines craftsmanship with technology. The house blend we offer as espresso, americano, and latte is a 100% Arabica mix of beans from Brazil, Peru, and Guatemala, grown at an altitude of 1,500 meters. The rounded flavor of this delicious coffee consists of nutty, full-bodied notes of chocolate, caramel, and light acidity.
In addition to our classic coffees, we also offer French press, as well as cold brew coffee. French press is a cozy and hearty way to brew filter coffee. With cold brew, we let the coffee steep in cold water for 24 hours. For both the cold brew and the French press, we work with unique coffees. We offer two single origin coffees.
1. Burundi coffee
The coffee beans for this single origin coffee are hand-picked and processed with the utmost care. The honey lots from Kayanza are characterized by a fresh citrus aroma with refined notes of black tea and berries. The beans are grown at an altitude of 1,750 meters.
2. Mexican coffee
This unique coffee is, if anything, even tastier and more special. It is not only a single origin coffee, but even a single farm coffee: the beans come from one and the same farm, allowing the pure character and unique taste of this coffee to be tasted unfiltered and unblended.
At Finca Fatima—the name of this farm—only the ripe, red coffee cherries are picked by hand. The cherries are then floated in water so that unripe ones can be removed. After the pulp is pressed, the coffee ferments for 48 hours. The beans are then washed before being dried slowly and evenly in small Guardiola dryers at a low temperature. After 4 days, the green coffee is ready to be shipped.
